"A great and wholesome family-owned home builder. We're truly grateful for their help for building our lovely home. Me and my partner have been in a rush to find a new home this year. We are a young couple and first time home buyers. After visiting multiple builders, we weren't treated as professionally as WLH's associates. "I decided to build a home for the first time and I went to several other builders in my city. I was just about to lose hope on the whole thing when I stumbled upon Western living homes. I sent them an email and they replied very quickly so I set up a meeting with them at one of their show homes. The first person I met was the area sales manager Angela. "Nicholas, Robert, and the rest of the team at WLH are all great to work with. Very down to earth, reasonable, and willing to help and address concerns/answer questions. We wanted a more "custom" home and they worked with us to modify the house plans significantly with no limitations (unlike other builders). We were happy to support a family owned and operated small business. It was a smooth process and they use quality vendors/contractors who were very accommodating and great to work with as well as willing to help/provide guidance/recommendations (which was helpful considering I was a first time home buyer). We bought our house in 2021 and had all warranty items completed a year later. Warranty items included: discoloured grout, screw pops, wrong counter top in bathroom, discoloured gable, garage door paint rubbing off, door adjustments, cracks on ceiling, minor paint touchups, dented door, and some other minor issues. Overall, I think the home-building process can be difficult no matter what and we would choose WLH to build our next home in a heart-beat."
